As the national and international trade grow, the disputes arising from commercial relations increase. Parallel to the increase of disputes, the number of cases the courts must handle become enormous.
With the present Arbitration Rules, the Izmir Chamber of Commerce offers an effective dispute resolution procedure adapted to the needs of the business community. Arbitration has become the best means of insuring security in commercial dealings.
By writing the Model Clause in their agreements or by acting written agreements about dispute resolution, our members can find solution to their commercial disputes, within the frame of Arbitration Board of Izmir Chamber of Commerce.
"All disputes arising out of or in connection with the present contract shall be finally settled under the rules of the Arbitration Board of Izmir Chamber of Commerce, by one or more arbitrators appointed in accordance with the said rules."
